About Us

Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health, Inc., (SEMO-BH) has assembled a group of highly trained and skilled professionals dedicated to individualized treatment of your personal and family needs.

For more than 30 years our staff has been committed to providing people suffering from chemical dependencies, emotional problems, psychiatric disorders and other crisis of life the most complete treatment services in the region.

In addition, SEMO-BH has become a leader in the regional chemical dependency education and outreach network. So that we can meet the needs of those we serve, we offer a variety of services.

The substance-dependent individual does not come stamped from a mold. People of all types of background, education, race or economic standing are vulnerable. In each case the struggle to get treatment is a difficult one. At SEMO-BH we want to make accessing treatment services as easy as possible.

The only way to change your life is to start doing something different today. Make that difference a phone call or e-mail to SEMO-BH. Our professionals will show you how they can help you find a more rewarding life for yourself and your family.

Admissions accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

STATEMENT OF REFERRAL

Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health is a community based, nonmedical provider of supportive residential and outpatient substance abuse, mental health, co-occurring disorders treatment services, and is certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health as a provider of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment. Individuals in supportive residence at our facilities must not require nursing services nor have a condition requiring medical attention while in treatment. By referral, community providers of medical services are utilized by this agency to meet the needs of those clinically involved with this agency. Transitional and supportive housing are available to those requiring such support. Extensive case management and community support assistance is made available to all clients. Referrals are accepted from any social agency, medical facility, government entity, the clergy, and individuals on behalf of themselves or another. The facility is open; therefore, individuals may leave anytime at their discretion. To be admitted for service, individuals need only to present themselves for admission. After completion of an individual standardized screening instrument, the person may then be admitted to the least restrictive treatment program. All treatment records are confidential and protected by federal and state laws.

We are certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health and accredited by CARF International
